With experience of over 40 years in the real estate and property management business, Winfield has a proven track record of successfully reaching the goals and objectives of property owners across the nation. Currently managing properties in California and Oklahoma, they have implemented effective and efficient sales plans for over 1,700 units in the Tulsa area.
Jim Armstrong started out specializing in the brokerage of small income properties, primarily apartments. The property management business began as a result of these transactions and within a few years, Jim formed JAPM, Inc in 1979. Armstrong Property Management became a d.b.a. of JAPM INC., in 1987, with Jim Armstrong as the President and CEO, as he is today. Jim Armstrong also became a Certified Property Manager® through the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1992 and a Certified Community Association Manager® in 2004 through the California Association of Community Managers.
Amy Bors, a Tulsa native, began property management in 1997 with a national management firm where she specialized in startups of distressed properties. Her ability to turn around underperforming properties enabled her to move into the Regional Supervisor position for the Midwest Region. Today Amy follows those same strategies to successfully reach the goals of property owners. She is also licensed with the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission, is on the Board of the Tulsa Apartment Association and the Institute of Real Estate Management. In 2009, Amy was awarded the Corporate Supervisor of the Year.
